Terahertz.NRW brings together leading experts in THz research from North Rhine-Westphalia – in Bochum, Duisburg, Wachtberg and Wuppertal as well as worldwide. Our network unlocks the potential of state-of-the-art THz technologies through close collaboration and innovation.

We develop innovative mobile applications in the fields of communication and localization, material characterization, medical technology and environmental monitoring. Our goal is to establish THz technology worldwide – Made in NRW.
