Opportunities for Female Academics
We want to specifically promote female scientists and network them within terahertz.NRW. Our platform for this is “Women in THz”. We offer you exclusive career development and mentoring programs, career events such as the Science Campus or interesting keynote speeches (e.g. on specialist topics, compatibility of family and career). In this way, we want to inspire even more female scientists for terahertz research.
Start of the virtual impulse session series for "women in THz"
We invite the women from the terahertz.NRW network to our exclusive impulse session series #WednesdayForWomenInTHz. The (interactive) presentations will focus on topics such as balancing family and career, resilience, scientific work, successful doctorates, leadership and much more. We want to specifically address and promote the needs, interests and ambitions of women in the network.
Your opinion counts: Let us know which topics you are still interested in. We will then take this into account for future presentations. Please also give us feedback on the event, even if you are unable to attend. Just send us an e-mail.
Simply register with FHR Personnel Development for the first lecture on rhetoric (May 29, 2024, 18:30 – 20:00).
The lecture language is English. The workshop will be held on MS Teams. Participation is free of charge.
