Modern man has always tried to push the boundaries beyond what is possible. At ever shorter intervals, this has changed our daily lives. A network of excellent minds at the scientific locations of Bochum, Duisburg, Wachtberg and Wuppertal in North Rhine-Westphalia and around the world is now pushing the boundaries even further.

Terahertz technology is the instrument used in this disruptive change in many socially relevant areas. This network aims, among other things, to enable other disciplines to benefit from terahertz technology.

We want to develop new mobile applications for communication, localization, material characterization, medical technology and environmental monitoring. We give terahertz technology global visibility – made in NRW.
